Cake Discharge Stage: After drying, the plate pack opens, and the cloth drive system operates, discharging the filter cake from both sides. The cloth is then cleaned by dual-side washing before starting the next cycle. The surface must be smooth for easy cake release and cleaning efficiency.
Air permeability is a critical parameter affecting both filtration efficiency and particle retention.
High air permeability improves filtration speed but lowers particle retention.
Low air permeability achieves finer separation but extends the filtration cycle.
